The play begins (exposition/introduction) when Nora went home from her shopping for christmas and her husband was welcoming her and told her not to be shopaholic, to save their money then he told her about the promotion he had. Mrs. Kristine Linde and Dr. Rank came, Mrs. Linde was Nora’s old friend and Dr.Rank was Mr. Torvald private doctor. Dr.Rank just went to Torvald’s study room and Nora told Mrs. Linde about her husband’s promotion and also told her about Dr.Rank then Mrs. Linde told Nora about her life after her husband passed away, he left her penniless and childless and met Nora to look for a job from Torvald.
The complication is when Nora told Mrs. Linde about her deep secret when she and Torvald went to Italy which the truth was the money was from Nora’s account not from her father’s and Torvald hadn’t known about. After talking about that suddenly Mr. Krogstad came and wanted to see Torvald about Bank thing, Mr. Krogstad is a widower with a lot of child then Dr.Rank went out from the study room to look in on Nora. Nora introduced Dr.Rank to Mrs. Linde. After Mr. Krogstad went out, Nora brought Mrs.Linde to her husband and looking a job for her then they all left the flat except Nora. Nora spent her time by playing with her children and suddenly Mr. Korgstad came and had a words with her about saving his position in the bank and threaten her if Torvald just give his position to Mrs.Linde he would tell Torvald about her loan which would be dangerous for her reputation.
Nora waited for Mrs. Linde on the couch with her sewing materials and torn dress. Mrs. Linde arrive to help her fixing the dress for the Tarantella, which Nora danced at the party later that evening. Mrs.Linde believed Dr. Rank was the man whom Nora borrowed the money, for he seemed especially caring towards her. Nora told that he was not the creditor. He was just a very close friend with whom she discusses everything. She did not speak with her husband about other people - man or woman - because Torvald always be jealous of anyone who speaks with her. As Nora began to divulge the conversation with Krogstad, Torvald entered then Nora sent Mrs.Linde away because Torvald didn’t like to see women sewing. She pleaded him to keep Krogstad at the bank, but he didn’t pay her any attention. He just comfort her as one would a pet. Dr. Rank entered to see Torvald who waited him in his study-room. Dr. Rank sat next to Nora, who appears to be extremely worried. He tried to calm her by telling her that he would do everything for her and that he actually had deep feeling for her. He was on the verge of death and wanted to tell her how he felt before he left, he wanted to be able to give her something that they could remember him. Nora was about to ask him for the money when he divulged his feeling. She was very shocked and angry by his candid honesty.
The crisis/climax Torvald finally got the letter and read that letter, upon reading he called Nora as a liar, hipocrite and hereditary disaster. He was so disappointed with what Nora had done behind him and he also blamed her for destroying his reputation.

Resolution when finally Nora realized that Torvald was only devoted to someone who depends on him, it means that Torvald wasn’t devoted her, so she decided to find the way to be free. She decided to be independent and to be free from her husband so she left the flat and told her husband that all the servants could take care of the house and the children better than her.
Major Characters

Nora Helmer: she is a wife of a bussinessman she’s a shopaholic, she’s tipically a high-society woman. Actually she was a nice woman she remembered her friend Mrs.Linde although they were a school old friend. She also got an account to help her husband although without his permission. In the end of the play, she realized that actually she was just like a doll for his husband.
Torvald Helmer: Torvald Helmer is an businessman who has recently been promoted to the position of Manager of the Savings Bank, he is Nora’s husband. A scrupulous man, Torvald spent his life according to society's norms professionally and personally. He treated his wife, like a beautiful and treasured doll, who he could dress up, exhibited, and loved externally. Torvald was extremely ill several years earlier and recovered in Italy. As the Manager of the Bank, he would earn money more, but still hoped to save some of it. He’s a thrifty one, he always want to save money although he had been promoted. He was a jealousyman he never wanted Nora told about everyone else. He was an egoistic one because he always wanted everything done by his rule.
Dr. Rank: Dr. Rank was a close person for Helmer’s family, he was Helmer’s private doctor. He was an admirer of nora. He was a nice person, we could see from his dialogue with Nora and Mrs.Linde.
Mrs. Linde: she was an old school-friend of Nora from their girl era although they had not seen each other in several years they were still a close friend. She was a widow of a loveless marriage who came to Nora to look for a job for her after her husband passed away and left her penniless and childless.
Nils Krogstad: Nils Krogstad was a barrister at the bank in which Torvald worked. He was a man of loose scruples who has lied and forged documents in the past, losing the respect of Torvald and his co-workers but he did that because he had a lot of child. He had tried to start his new life in a complete honesty, he was also at risk of losing his job. Torvald had a plan giving his job to Mrs. Linde. When Krogstad discovers the news, he threaten to tell Torvald that he is the man who lent Nora the money years earlier, destroying everyone's lives.
Minor Characters

The Helmer children: The three Helmer children run around the house during the course of the play. Nora plays with them and constantly wants to give them presents.
Anna-Maria (nurse/Nanny): The nanny brought news to Nora about the mail and callers. Years earlier, she left her own child and family to raise Nora in a wealthy setting, and now is the trusty nursemaid to Nora's own children. She discusses family and finances with Nora.
Housemaid: The housemaid helps the Helmers with the housework, mail, and callers.
Porter: The porter helped run the Helmer household and delivered letters for them.
Nora's father: Torvald always compared Nora to her father although in this play Nora’s father was never seemed phisically but he had an important meaning here.
Objects/Places(Setting)

Helmer’s Flat : the whole event was happened here.
Torvald’s study : where Torvald spentalmost of his day.
Ballroom: where Nora danced the Tarantella dance.
Living Room: where Nora usually was in.

Point of View
The Dolls house play use third person omniscient point of view,because the author knows about all the characters do, think and feel.
Tone and Athmosphere
The tone is very serious because the kind of problem here is serious. The atmosphere here shows the modern life problems which happened in a high-sociecty.
Theme
Doing lie although it was a white lie always made a fluctuation in our life, and doing something without thinking deeply will make a regret in the end.
Moral Values
 Don’t be extravagant
 Look before you leap
 Be honest
 Recheck if you heard anything
 Dont threatening anyone.
